Trick or treat was a little wet this year. But the rain didn't hold the "burning on fire" witch or the lovely butterfly back from the treats.
One more layer of rock delivered to our downtown apartment building before we leave. All part of winterizing.
Today we went down the street to our town firehouse. Jane, our librarian read us some stories and we watched two firemen slide down the gold fire pole, and one get dressed in all his gear. Later we explored the hook and ladder truck and one of the ambulances. Our best friends were there too.
We spent an afternoon out on the land in Calais. We visited the sugar house in the off season. We took some family photos. The big project was tackling the alteration of the fireplace. They boys all worked to remove a cracked piece of granite
and put it in a more useful spot.
Off to ride the Alpine Slide and have a go at Bungee Trampolines!
