Fall Foliage with Grandma and Grandpa

We spent an afternoon out on the land in Calais. We visited the sugar house in the off season. We took some family photos. The big project was tackling the alteration of the fireplace. They boys all worked to remove a cracked piece of granite
and put it in a more useful spot.

Our new meadow has sprouted grass! Hurray!

5 YEARS OLD!!!

Grandma and grandpa came from California to celebrate my 5th birthday. I had an "Under the Sea Party" with a shark pinata and a treasure hunt. I took my grandparents to show them the "Rock of Ages" a huge granite quarry in Barre, VT. Daddy made me some of my favorite sushi for dinner.

Tunbridge Fair 2010

We had a full day at the fair this year. We soaked ourselves watching the pig races in the rain but it didn't keep us from enjoying ourselves!

Ahh those Summer Days

Here are some last photos from our summer in Vermont. A little canoeing, some hiking (in town!), and of course a lot of fort building!

Excavator in Action!

A view from our campsite on the land
Calais, Vermont

Clearing the Land

This was an exciting week at the Tilted T Ranch. In just a few days, the site was cleared. We camped out and watched the action. It is nice to see the lay of the land. The land was seeded with conservation mix and our own renaissance daddy is mulching it with 175 bales of hay by hand! What will we do next? Building site? No, probably just means a seated lawn mower is the next purchase to make.
